The Basics

We want EVERYONE to have a great time at Fort Tater, we ask that you mind these simple village laws:

Animal Companions: Please leave your pets at home. Officially recognized service animals are the only exception.
Outside Provisions: Outside food and drink are strictly prohibited within the village gates.
Weapons & Steel: All bladed weapons must be securely peace-tied at all times.

We want everyone to experience the magic of the faire. Our village is set in a beautiful, natural forest featuring grassy hills and natural inclines. While these unpaved surfaces can occasionally be a bit of a challenge for strollers and wheelchairs, it is entirely doable! We appreciate your patience as we continuously work to make our grounds more accessible.

Handicap parking will be available on a first come- first serve basis.

Our village merchants are independent and set their own payment policies. Check out the

Garb and Attire

Wondering what to wear? Costumes and period garb are highly encouraged, but absolutely not required! You will fit right in whether you’re wearing a tunic and tights or a casual t-shirt and jeans. Fair warning, though: once you see the incredible outfits around the village, you might find yourself shopping for a cloak or a bodice of your own!
